I’m Bernard Kates. I’m a transformational leadership coach and mentor.

In my career of more than 30 years in leadership I’ve learned a thing or two. Through trial and error, and there were plenty of both, I discovered the secrets of effective leadership. I know what works, and what doesn’t, because I’ve been there.

My friend and colleague, Lesley Moran, could tell a few tales from leadership’s dark side, too.

In today’s world there’s way too much stress, conflict and general unpleasantness that comes down, fair and square, to poor or absent leadership.
