About the event

ental health refers to a person's emotional, psychological and social well-being, encompassing their overall mental and emotional state. It involves the individual's ability to cope with stress, maintain fulfilling relationships, work productively, make sound decisions and adapt to life's challenges. Good mental health is characterized by emotional resilience, a positive sense of self-worth and the capacity to handle life's ups and downs effectively.

Mental health is not a static state; it can change over time, influenced by various factors, including genetics, life experiences, environmental influences and individual choices. Mental health disorders, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia, can significantly impact a person's mental well-being and may require treatment and support.

Promoting and maintaining good mental health is essential for overall well-being and can involve strategies like seeking professional help when needed, practicing self-care, maintaining a supportive social network and reducing stress. Mental health is a crucial aspect of overall health and it's important to prioritize it just as one would physical health.
